WORKSHOPS ARE CURRENTLY ON HOLD WHILE I LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVE VENUES
The workshops I offer are all experiential. They are the perfect way to take time out from your busy schedule, treat yourself to some personal space to reflect, meet and receive encouragement from new people and make friends. Some classes are focused on pattern making, others are focused on expressive and intuitive art. Longer workshops and retreats are a great way to go deeper.
I’m happy to provide one to one tuition for people who may want some focused time to themselves. Or you may have a group of friends who want to share an experience together with a dedicated class just for you. Get in touch through the Contact Me page

STUDIO DROP IN & OPEN Studio VISITs
Please note: the studio is closed 10 April, 1, 8 and 22 May
No space at home? Or fancy being somewhere different? The studio is open from 2pm to 5pm every Wednesday afternoon for ‘drop in’ sessions of one hour or more (you’re welcome to stay for the afternoon) where you can use the space for your art projects. £7 per hour (add £5 per hour if using my art materials) payable on the day - no need to book. As much herbal tea as you can drink.
Open Studio: If you would like to see my art in person this is the perfect time to come and visit. No charge, just ring the buzzer for Room 3. Please contact me id you’d like to make an alternative appointment.
Studio Hire: If you would like to use the studio for longer for yourself or maybe with a small group please contact me. This can be for art and non-art related meetings.
Sacred Geometry and Mandalas
New date TBC 10am - 5.00 pm SIA Studio, Eastbourne £110
Do you love circles and spirals? Did you love Spirograph as a child? Are you inspired by meaning and symbols? Then you will love drawing these patterns.
Using only compasses we will construct two mandala patterns:
The Torus - said to represent the human energy field
The Flower of Life - sometimes called the Creation diagram because it is the building block to so many other patterns, whilst being beautiful as it is.
These patterns originated many thousands of years ago. They are repeated across all traditions around the world and are very satisfying to draw and to colour.
We will use A3 paper, watercolour if preferred, with time to colour and paint the patterns.
All papers, tools and a variety of paints and colouring pencils are provided.
Beginners are welcome and no knowledge of maths or geometry is required. If it's a while since you used compasses there will be plenty of practice.
