I really enjoy taking commissions as it allows me to create something truly unique and personalised. Currently I have a waiting list.  Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for a commission however it is worth contacting me if you would like something sooner.

A commission may be a Mandala, Dreamcatcher or a Buddha painting.  If you seek inspiration take a look at my Gallery or view my Pinterest.  The face of Buddha paintings are typically inspired by a photograph.  The Mandalas and Dreamcatchers are created intuitively, often through the use of a word or words, verse and/or colour(s).

The process

I like to arrange a time to speak, in person, by Skype or phone, so that we can connect and I can get a good understanding of who you are (if the picture is for you) or the recipient (if the picture is a gift). During this conversation I will ask whether you have any intentions, colours and/or words to inspire or be included in the painting. We will agree the medium (watercolours or acrylics), size and cost.

During the creation of your painting I will take photos to share with you in order to keep you up to date and to provide an opportunity for you to feedback. I also like to check any intuitive ideas I have with you so that you may verify what I am experiencing. On completion I will email you an album of the work in progress photos as a record of the story of your painting. With your permission I will also share work in progress and final piece photos on FacebookInstagram and Pinterest. All your details will be kept confidential.

The cost is determined by the size and complexity of the painting. I ask for a non-refundable deposit of fifty percent in advance and the outstanding amount plus packing and shipping costs on completion.

Together we will agree arrangements for collection or shipping. I have previously sent paintings to the US, Europe and within the UK. The costs of postage and packing are in addition to the cost of the commission.
